Well, you can't do it without their permission and cooperation.  But you go to a local agent, who can find the companies that fit the person's age and health, and they will walk you through the application and testing process.

Well, they will all say they are good.  Start with the ones that can advertise on TV - State Farm, etc.

Insurance policies are like cars - tons of models and tons of options.  You probably should have someone sit down with you and go over the stuff.
