How do you take care of a baby praying mantis? its alone!! w/us?

i get one every year in our lounge, i call it percy, they soon find their way round, they love flies,and aphids

Praying mantis are actually considered a protected species in most states because of their ability to eat many bugs. In some states you can be fined for killing one. And I am not talking chump change either like 1000 dollars. Best bet is to leave it in a low growing bush that tends to have many bugs around it. They will find the food.

Put it on a bush or plant that has aphids.  It eats other bugs.

you leave it alone and do not touch it. it's not with you, it just happens to be near you.

that baby praying mantis is quite capable of fending for itself. It can and will hunt for it's own food. If you try to help it in any way, you'll only be hurting it
