  1. put table salt on them dries them and leaches' right up..


  2. Buy some canned ones in a gourmet deli or restaurant first to make sure you like them before you try raising them. To me they taste like garlicky pieces of tire rubber but there is something about them I like. A friend feeds them on sage and other herbs for a few days to flavor them. In some areas they are garden pests. If this is the case plant lots of what they like to eat, away from your gardens. Some will not hibernate but lay eggs that survive the winter.  RScott

  3. take care of a garden snail? As in keep it there? Wow, not sure I only know how to get rid of them. They love moist soil so I would make sure the soil was moist but not too moist. Make sure they have plenty of vegetation. But beware once, you get them started you will catch h**l trying to get them to go away if you ever want to plant a garden!
