How do you take care of a smooth newt?

I found one outside on the road and I kinda want to keep it. Problem is, I don't know how to care for one. Can someone tell me?

8-10 gallon tank (minium):

Substrate eco earth, coco humus cypress mulch potting soil (organic no pesidsides or fertilizers and microwave for 1 min before uses) preferably a mix of a couple of these

a large pond or pool area (a large deep plant tray (those things u put plant pots on) will be ok

Keep moist (humid) an temps below 22C

feed suitably sized insects (nothing wider thank the space between its eyes) earthworms slugs and snails (deshelled) seem to be favourites crickets and mealworms are also ok but mealworms must be beheaded (otherwise they might bite your newt) and crickets shouldnt be left in the viv as they may attack or injure the newt

i really wouldn't just take a newt out of the wild (just advice not criticism)
