I was given a couple of bamboo sticks, (some believe it's good luck) and I was instructed to keep it in water at room temp, which I do. But the tips if the leaf part is turning brown, when I see them around at stores and shops there green to the tip, what should I exactly be doing to make sure the leaves are green again and stay that way?

  1. They do well in a glass container with tiny rocks and water out of direct sunlight.

  2. Just water.  But, make sure it gets light, but they don't like direct sunlight.  A little browning of a leaf is okay - leaves die and new ones come.  Plants in the store look all green because they trimmed off the brown parts.

  3. idk wat to tell you. they should be growing fine. but i did hear that it u cut an inch off it will work

  4. I'm not saying that you are not lucky, but when it turns to a different color that's what it means, but you never know, maybe it is set in a wrong area in the house. Try moving it around. To be honest, if you move the plant to the right area, it will grow more.
