How do you take music off your Ipod?

How do you take music off the actual Ipod? I want to keep the music on Itunes, but take it off the Ipod itself. The only answers I can find are how to transfer music from your Ipod to somewhere else.

this is hard to do but there are programs to do this... search in google

here's something u can try before u search for programs..

open up my computer, go to tools>>folder options>> view>> show hidden files.

this should enable you to see your iPod in My Computer. then just search your iPod and all those files in there are music files.

this is confsuing though cuz they have weird names and are broken apart...

i suggest torrenting a program to do it for you.

Easy question, easy answer.

Plug your ipod in and click "your ipod name" hit the button that says restore. That will take all the music off your ipod as well as any games or documents but those can be put on easily.
