  1. You've got a lot of work ahead of you. Horses take a great deal of time and unfortunately money. Your best bet would be to ask your local vet regarding feed, injections, hoof care, deworming and grooming. Buy informative horse books, there are many on the market on horse care.

    Good Luck & enjoy

  2. You bought a horse and you have no idea how to take care of it???  Thats bad.  I would contact a vet and ask them to figure out a feeding schedule.  It was a bad idea to buy one.  First get A LOT of books to read!  Also you should ask someone to help you because horses are very sensative.  If you feed them too much or too little, they can get sick.  Also to keep flies off the horse, you can buy fly spray at www.statelinetack.com  and you can buy a lot more stuff too like brushes and what not.  But feed it grain and alf alfa.  How much does it weigh and how tall is it?  What breed is it?
