How do you take of chinadoll bangs if you're african-american?

Black peoples hair breaks easy,and i dont want to put too much heat into it.so what are some tips on keeping them?..and is it ok to use holdin spray after straightenin ur bangs?..I need as much answers as possible =)

i dont think that getting those bangs is a good idea.

it will just take too much effort and heat to make it look like asian bangs

The key is using a good thermal protectant some good brands are:

Soft and Beautiful

Pantene Pro-V

Chi (the best in my opinion)

Sauve Sleek Heat Protectant

and Nexxus

If you use a good protectant you can flat iron your bangs more often and the protectant already has a holding spray in it so its a two in one!

Second use a wrapping foam like Motions Wrapping Foam and at night put some on your bangs comb them to the side make sure they're very slick and tie it down with a scarve. That will keep them nice and straight and in the morning they will be dry and you can just comb them down and add a little oil sheen.

You can definitely get chinadoll bangs despite being African American so Work it Gurl!!
