How do you take off Orange tip on AGM L96?

I do not care if it is illegal or not, i just want to know. i heard that it can be unscrewed or something like that

Obvously, as stated by everyone, it's illegal, but what I would do, is paint it... use an acrylic paint, they're durable, but don't tote it around like a real gun and try to act tough... you may actally get shot.

The orange tip is supposed to tell everyone its a "toy", however some crooks got stupid and painted the tips of real guns with orange paint.

You point anything that looks like a gun at a cop, service member, or anybody that has any kind of formal or informal training you can plan on being shot.

As for the way to do it.

Place the toy on the ground behind a bull-dozer, have the operator backup.

No more orange tip...

While I whole heartedly agree with the other two about the illegality and inadvisability of removing that orange tip

Don't think for one second that a cop will hesitate for one second before shooting you if you point a gun at him just because it has an orange tip

It is illegal to remove the orange tip of a fake gun. has been since Regan was Prez

If you are talking about removing the orange tip of a non-lethal gun, then don't do it.  If you were to be seen with it by the police and it doesn't have that orange tip, expect to be shot by a real gun.

Number one it is illegal for you to remove the orange paint from your weapon. Number two: Without the orange tip there is one way to tell if it's a toy or real and if police think you maybe a threat to them or someone else you could be killed is it worth it?
