My professor is insisting it be the normal DVD size even though I know all d**n DVD players can play the mini. I have a DVD burner on my computer but I don't have any software for it. Can you please give step by step directions on what do do and what programs I need to down load?

Thanks!!!

  1. Buy a copy of Nero 6 on ebay, you should be able to find it for $20 including shipping. Then you can copy the dvd, there's a program in the Nero Suite that does that.

  2. Stapples, Kinkos, Walgreens, Walmart offer this service. They even convert defunt VCR tapes into DVD. It may cost you just as much as buying NERO on the internet.

You can also, plug in your mini-DVD camcorder into a computer that has a DV-R and voila!

    Good luck

  3. All d**n DVD players can't play the mini-DVD - slot loaders for example.

Nero can copy DVDs, but since I don't use it I'd start by ripping the mini-DVD with DVDDecrypter.  I'd then use Burnaware Free Edition to copy the files from the video_ts folder to a new DVD.
