How do you take the Bauer symbol off your helmet so it is all black?

steal brush or black spray paint is the easy ways, spray paint is quicker and then you can write pens over rated on the side of the melon center

Don't spray paint it, it ruins the warranty on the helmet.  

Some black electrical tape trimmed with an Exacto knife does the trick quite well.  Pick up some clear shoe polish at your local drug store, apply a few coats followed by a buffing with a clean towel and you will have a shiny, one color helmet without any logos.  I do this with all of my officials helmets, even the pro-return models have at least one company stamp on them.  It's what the NHL referees do since they don't have a team logo/name to put on the front like the players.
