  1. you bring it to a qualified mechanic.

  2. simple. you'll need a 17mm for the lugs, a 6mm for the hex bolt (if you are replacing the rotors) 5mm for the sliders, 16mm for the rear caliper bolts or 18mm for the front caliper bolts.

no special tools needed, the pistons in all our calipers push back into the calipers straight (no turning needed)

use a screwdriver to remove the retaining spring from the front of the caliper (spring clip) remove the two slider caps, loosen both sliders and pull out so the threads dont catch the caliper bracket. you might need to use the same screwdriver (flat) to push the caliper back in enough to be able to slide the assy off of the disc. (wedge driver inbetween one of the pads and rotor and pry to push caliper piston back in=gives you space) set caliper aside, remove bracket bolts if your are replacing rotors. push the piston the rest of the way back in so you'll have plenty of space to put new pads and fit assy back into caliper bracket. i usually slide the outer pad into the bracket and have the inner pad in the caliper then slide the whole thing togeter onto the bracket. gently tighten your slider bolts (no impact please) put your caps and spring back on. rest your cluster by pushing and holding the left reset button with the ignition in second position or engine running in park, a menu will come up, select desired item with same left button then puch and hold again, menu will appear to the right now, push to select reset, then push and hold until you see the dist. change in the left column, then select exit to exit.

    good luck
