Other than aloe vera gel, what is something I can put on my sunburn to help take the sting out?

Thanks!

  1. Well, there is always ice... but that just numbs the pain. Continue staying out of the sun - even if you have sunscreen on.

  2. Use aloe vera for this - it will help more then anything else.  Make sure that whatever product you use that has Aloe Vera does not contain any alcohol in it.  If you have any of the plant in your house it would be the purest and best form.  It would cool the burn down - you may still be red but at least the painful burn would be a lot less if not gone.

  3. Take some Ibuprofen (like Advil or Motrin) to ease the inflammation, take cool baths, and I personally use Noxema in those baths.... It makes you feel cooler.

  4. You put the cursor between the n and the b, like this:  sun}burn.

    Hit delete three times!

  5. Noxema helps get the burn out, also a shower as hot as you can stand it.

  6. i never tried it before, but i asked the same question, and someone told me Noxema takes the sting out.

if all else fails, just use aloe.

  7. try taking cool showers and baths. If u take the bath use aveeno collidal oatmeal. It works GREAT.

  8. Stop the Burning Process!!

Sit in a cool bath.  You will notice after a while that the water may warm up a little.  This is due to the amount of heat your body is giving off.  When this happens, drain and refill the tub again.

    This will definitely work!!!

  9. vinegar..put it on your skin...

  10. alo vera,

    or homemade stuff that includes:

plain yogurt, and oatmeal. more yogurt than oatmeal, it feels so much better

  11. The best thing you can do is use Aloe Vera. It helps soooo much.

  12. Noxema and yellow vinegar will definitely do the trick....
