  1. You stood way too close to the people.  Next time, stand back farther and zoom in.  


  2. Sorry, don't think you'll be able to cure this picture. It's way to blown out! You may be able to adjust the levels or paint on some skin color using the brush with a low opacity in Photoshop , but I doubt it will look perfect.

  3. You can try to increase the highlights in photoshop, but it won't really do anything.  Stand farther away when you have to use the flash.

  4. Unfortunately, it is most likely toast.

    If you fortunate to have the RAW file you could look at it at the pixel level and see if any are left that didn't go to 255 (FF) white. But I don't hold a lot of hope of finding more than a few.


  5. That photo is just too washed out, there's no way to fix that.

    Either retake it or, use levels in Photoshop to improve as much as posible.

  6. When the details are lost we say "the pixels are blown out"...there is no data there to correct. Sorry, but that image can not be repaired.
