How do you take yahoo off of being your home page?

Click on Start, then Settings, then Control Panel, then Internet Options. Then go to the first section of the dialogue box which appears. Delete Yahoo, and then enter your desired home page URL. Then click "Apply" then click "Okay". Then you're good to go!

The best way is to have you home page up first and then go to tools then Internet options then click on use current and then apply. Use current is for the current web page you are on.

Go to the page you want to be your home page.Then left click "TOOLS" (at the top of your browser).At the bottom of the window it opens should be "INTERNET OPTIONS".Or just "OPTIONS" left click it. In internet explorer and Mozzilla Firefox,the top section is the "Homepage" option.Choose "USE CURRENT PAGE" Left click it. In Firefox, you may need to left click on "MAIN" at the very top of options box first. Now it will open to the page your currently on.
