  1. Go to the docks and buy a ticket I did... the service is subsidised by the government its quite cheap.. Great journey too...

I went tenerife but it goes to other islands too.. there is small ferry service between lanzarote and fuerte too that is reasonable.

Drove an old 72 camper van all over Tenerife..

Anyway theres like some kind of office buildings at the docs you go there and give them money they give you a ticket.

  2. Hi Sheila

This is the ferry operator of the ferry from Cadiz to the Canary Islands http://www.trasmediterranea.es/trasmeweb...

As far as I know they do not go to Fuerteventura You will have to go to Tenerife or Gran Canaria and get the Armas ferry to Fuerteventura.

You can book your trip and find out prices at

    http://www.directferries.co.uk/

Nice trip but expensive. Buy or rent a car when you get there.

I live in Gran Canaria and thought about taking my car when I went, decided against it sold my car and found I could buy the same car here cheaper and had a few Euro in my pocket.

If you were thinking of moving out there and wanted to take your belongings you will find it cheaper to rent space in a container or there are independent carriers who do the trip from Canaries to UK and return and are very reasonable.

    Well Hope this helps

    see you in the sun

    Good Luck

  3. On the ferry?

  4. Just checked with aferries.Cadiz to Lanzarote €1,215.

with car and one passenger. You would then have to drive down to Playa Blanca. Then on a ferry to Fuerteventura.Maybe about  ÃƒÂ¢Ã‚‚¬100.The cadiz crossing takes 44 hours and a cabin is included.

    Goog Luck.
