How do you take your child off of school phsyco drugs ?

do you ask them politely or do you have to threaten them with a lawsuit or

does it require a death threat. Do you phone the cops?

you are the legally and morally responsible for the chemicals that go into your childs body. i believe that what is going in our country today, as far as the amount of children that are being prescribed powerful psychotropic drugs, is nothing short of an epidemic. the school should in NO WAY be telling you what your kid should and should not take and advising to put your child on medication is a federal crime. schools in no way have any right to dispense medical advice.

talk to a doctor, discuss your concerns. make a judgment and decide if your child truly needs these extremely powerful substances.

Excuse me???  Your child should not be taking any drugs not prescribed by that child's personal physician!  The school does NOT have the right to put your child on drugs, or to demand that you put your child on drugs!  They canNOT say, "Either he goes on drugs or he's outta here!"  They can politely state the difficulty he/they are having, they can suggest that you MIGHT want to investigate this possible diagnosis with his pediatrician, they can tell you what they have tried in the classroom that has or has not been effective at helping this situation.  But they cannot tell you that your child must be on drugs, nor obtain for him a prescription for drugs, in any way, shape, or form.  IF his physician prescribes medication(s) that must be given during school hours, they can administer them for you with the proper forms filled out, and they can give their opinion whether the med(s) are having a positive or a negative effect.  That's it!

You are the parent.  It is your decision whether your child is medicated.  You don't need to ask anyone's permission to stop medicating your child.
