you talk really quite and you might be able to make contact with one. and there is no real way to know if you're in the presence of an evil fairy, but to keep them away keep a penny in each pocket of your pants.

no one can talk to fairies unless you were granted the sight which many people do not natrally have. unfortunatly these is no sure was to see them, but if you calm yourself and clear your thoughts, try to work with silence and grace and if your house does have fairies you'll be able to sence them.

if there are bad fairies you will be able to feel the negativity like an uneasy sick feeling. if they're really really bad they might get to a point of kncking this over, leaving messes or upsetting any animals in the house...usually it doesnt get that bad.

fairies hate salt, but u can also make a boquet of hawthorn, ivy, and st.johns wort, and hang it on your door individually these are powerful but all together will burn any evil spirit what tires to ent your house

Fairies are mostly in Nature.

If you want to talk to fairies I suggest you go into a garden, forrest, or even your yard. Some people can actually see faries and they are in tune to them. But anyone can talk to a fairie by just sitting in Nature and talking. They hear us.

As far as evil fairies, I think this is just for those that belive in fairie tales of GOOD VS BAD.

God does not make evil and the fairies do his work.

to talk to them forst you have to gain their trust. this is not easy to do because humans are seen as very greedy in the eyes of most of them. you must show that all you want is a friendship and a bit of knowledge with no secondhand motives.

start by dedication a part of your home, or room to them. a small patted plant with broad leaves will work nicely. around this plant place some shiny stones and metal sculptures. some sculptures of insects (dragonflies and butterflies) would possibly help some also.  

on occasion leave some fresh bread and milk out for them.

after that you just have to work on getting over your selfish urges and learning as much as possible about the little folk.

they will talk to you and possibly show themselves to you when they are ready to. it is not a gift of sight. everyone can see them WHEN THEY WANT YOU TO.

as for an evil fae...  

they are numerous and quite often associated with the element of water. burn some white sage in the room/house where you suspect that it may be. this will clear any negative energy from the area. this will not banish the critter but it will make an enviroment that it will not like. if you continue to  do this every month or so. and cultivate a positive lifestyle within your home it will most likely leave.  furthermore trying to bring in the good ones will often cause it to leave.
