How do you tape over a movie using the VCR??

okay so tonight is the premiere of picture this and i really want to watch it.... at the same time camp rock is on and that is my all time favorite because i love the jonas brothers!!!!<33 and i was hoping i could watch both by tapeing camp rock?? i just dont know how...

i have a vodeo tape but it isnt empty.... so can i tape over it.... it is bring it on and i know that i wont watch it again... can someone just give me steps or something on how to record on a vcr!!!

oohh and my vcr thing has a record button on it!!

  1. This is really easy. Put your tape in the machine, and turn your TV to the viseo channel. Now get the video remote, and try the different channels on that until you find the channel you want to tape and press record. It will tape over anything that&#039;s on the tape. If you&#039;re trying to tape from sky, or something plugged into a scart socket, not all VCRs do that. Also, some tapes have a little tab you can snap off to prevent the VCR from being able to record on it ever again. If there&#039;s no little tab on it, you can put tape over the hole, and it will tape as normal.

  5. Start the tape at the begining; press record; with nothing connected to the input to record. This will erase the old tape. Then you have a blank tape to record normally.

  6. put a tape in there and press record
