How do you teach a sneasel ice punch then counter?

The easiest way would be to get a Smeargle. Smeargle can learn any move through Sketch, and then you can breed it with a Sneasel to make Sneasels learn Counter and Ice Punch.

If you had Pokémon Emerald, you could breed a Sneasel there to get Ice Punch, and then teach it Counter through the Battle Frontier move tutor. You could also do that the other way around.

Those are the easiest ways to get Sneasel with both moves. You'd have to chain-breed in order to get Sneasel with those moves in Diamond and Pearl. However, there are a few options, so I'd leave that preferance to you. Go to: http://www.serebii.net/pokedex-dp/egg/21...  That site will show you which Pokémon learn those moves through breeding so that you can breed that Pokémon with Sneasel.

Also, don't teach it Ice Beam. Sneasel and Weavile both have horrible special attacks, that not one is viable. Ice Punch is physical and therefore more powerful.

Simple. Get a Smeargle, teach it Ice Punch and Counter with  "Sketch" and then breed it with a female Sneasel. Then you will have a sneasel born with both moves. It's not too complicated. :)

You can get Ice Punch for Sneasel one way only, first,

you will need to have completed your Emerald to the point that

you can go to the Battle Frontier, there two woman in one

of the houses that are willing to teach you moves, for Bp,

or Battle Points. They will teach your Sneasel Ice Punch.

For Counter, there is a move tutor in Leafgreen/Firered

in the Celadon Dp. Store third floor willing to teach it to

one of your pokemon. Hope this helps!! P.S.,

Pokemon Leafgreen and DP are the only games you get sneasel in.
