How would you tell a man that you work with that he has body odor, and that he's got stuff hanging in his ear (i.e. waxy chunks), especially if he's your superior? Every one in the office has noticed it, but no one has the heart (or balls) to tell him.

  1. If he's your boss, you don't. Simple as that. He may smell so funky it's unbearable, but it won't be half as bad as your working life will be become if you tell him.

Failing that, through bottles of aftershave at him until one breaks. Of course, you may kill your boss and then this would leave you with a bigger problem.

  2. Play it off like there is a smell somewhere and you can't find the source. Hopefully he figures it out without loosing face. If other people are aware of the odor hey can also look for the elusive odor. Have a conversation about hygiene, and how bad hygiene shows laziness, within earshot of the offender maybe get him to join the conversation. If the subtle hint doesn't work tell him "you stink! turn the water on and use soap the next time your in the shower!". Oh don't forget to let him know that corn fakes are for eating and not ear decorations.

  3. I want to see answers to this one. My boss has horrible breath!!!! I mean its like you cant stand to talk to him, its that bad.

  4. anonymously mail him literature on good personal hygiene..frequently
