How do you tell coworkers to NOT touch your monitor?

I have two big expensive monitors at my work station and coworkers are always touching and poking the screens. When I tell them outright to not touch the monitor, some people take offense. Is there a surefire/tactful way to get the point across?

Make up little signs that say"These monitors are like my wife,you may look, but you d**n well better not touch"

My husband had the same problem with his co-workers.  He is in IT and people are constantly asking him questions and standing in his cube.  He put post-its across the top of his monitor that read: PLEASE DONT TOUCH MY SCREEN!  Each word on a seperate note, clear as day.  It became an office joke, but people stopped touching his monitor.  Good luck to you, if that doesn't work - stock up on screen-cleaner.  ;o)
