  1. If it is Male, the adult will be much larger with a long, waving tail.

If its female, the fish will just be alot bigger than the baby one.

    :)

  2. Most bettas sold in pet stores are about 6-9 months old and just about beyond their best breeding years.  Bettas don't develop their fullest fins until they are about 6 months old.  They are best for breeding just before they develop their full fins.  So, a younger betta doesn't have as full, flowing fins as an adult betta.  Baby bettas are much smaller than adult bettas.  Fry are born extremely tiny and don't even look like bettas at all.  They basically look like little dots with strings for their tails.  They start to look more and more like mini versions of bettas with shortened fins as they grow.  The full fins begin to develop later in life.  If you want to see some cool pictures of baby bettas, go onto YouTube and search for betta breeding or betta fry and you can see lots of videos of them.

  3. if the fins look thinner and if the color on them sorta fades

  4. For the male, his body size will be larger and the tail will start to get long a flowy.

For the female, her size Will be increased but her tail will stay Short
