  1. ask him how many fingers your holding up! if he's wrong u'll kno

  2. usually you would try waving your hand in front of it. Birds usually respond. If it doesn't, its blind.

Also, see if the bird's eyes are whiter than usual.

  3. it wouldnt be your fault if he is blind.

but maybe you should take him to the vet's office.

I hope he is okay, but maybe you should just keep him in the house or just let him stay outside and let him do his own huntings for food.

    :]

    hope he's ok

  4. Lol, what you just said sounds like what happens when a birds wings are clipped. Maybe a wing injury?

  5. Slowly move your hand around to the side of its head, near one of its eyes--don't make really rapid motions as it may feel the air current from your hand and turn its head anyway; look carefully at the eye nearest your hand. If the eye doesn't move, doesn't focus, and the bird doesn't turn its head to look at you (even briefly) but just continues to stare, then it is probably blind in that eye. You can also try shining a light (like a flashlight, especially those nifty little handheld ones) into the eye for a second, looking closely at the black part (the pupil) the whole time; if the pupil doesn't get smaller then you'll know the information isn't getting to the brain.

Don't feel too bad if he is blind, it's very sad but he can still live a fairly normal life even if he can't see, just try to put his food and water in the same general place every day so that he can expect it to be there and he'll be just fine.

  6. if he runs into a wall! LOL

  7. was the robin tame? if it wasnt try touching its chest. normally they dont like it when they dont know what is touching their bodies. or try waving your hands across its face. it should follow your hand. if not then your bird is blind. but its ok....as long as its alive you did your part to save the bird.

  8. If it runs into a wall it's likely blind,my bird is blind and it only responds to smell,go to a vet and check......My bird has a badly injured nose which is why it's blind and it's still alive.......Don't worry it might not be blind it might fell dizzy when it flies......It will be fine
