How do you tell if a signature is real or printed on?

I have a couple of team autographed footballs that I'm going to try to sell on eBay that have the entire KC Chiefs team signatures.

I'm guessing that they are printed because the lines are all similar with no smudges.

What other clues should I look for to determine this?

Well the only true way to tell if a signature is real or printed is if you are the one with the item, and watching the person sign it.

There are items that are intended for mass production retail sales, these items are sold in the stores, KMART, WALMART, etc... and those items are all printed.
