Question:

How do you tell someone you don't want to hang with them?

Because a girl from my school called me and was like, "Hi I was wondering if you wanted to hang out with me sometime over the summer. Call when you get the message." Only thing is, I'm not very good friends with her and I don't know how to tell her no. I mean I can't be like, "Sorry, I'm booked for the summer." but I only hang out with her when my friend invites her and me to stuff, so I don't know where she got the idea that we were good enough friends to chill outside school on our own. Please help me, I don't want to be rude but our relationship isn't close enough for us to chill.

  1. Apparently you have enough friends because passing up an opportunity to get a new friend would be stupid otherwise.  Unless you have a reason to not want to know her better, I think you should make a plan with her.

There might be a day when you're as lonely as she is.

  2. Just don't call back and she will get the message.

  3. You could always plan something with your other friends and invite her along, that way you wouldnt have to hang out with just her.

  4. will this is super hard but you could be anious and tell her the truth or you could make up something, there's the facts

1.one you can tell her the truth but what if she gets super mad and you dont want to make enemies.

                   2. Maybe she will understand and not get anger and  next year try to be great friends with you.

                   3. Or maybe you try to avoid her but later on your going to have to approach her later on in life.

                     4. Last thing i think that is better than all of these things is that you can talk to her and say hi, i dont know how to say this but i do want to hangout but can i get to know you better because it's kinda werid i dont know you that much. And i really do want to be great friends only i have to know you better i hope you under stand.

I hope i help you and didn't give you the wrong advice i will pray everthing goes  well.

  5. Straight up.

  6. say: I don't feel like hanging out.Its not rude and yur being honest.

  7. You should call her back or whenever you see her it'll be awkward. Maybe just plan a group event, and call her back inviting her to that, so it's not so "one-on-one"

  8. Tell them you are busy.

  9. It would be rude if you do not call her back...when you do just keep it light and say you really don't know what your plans are right now ,so you do not want to commit to anything you'd have to back out of.
