  1. If you want the truth there is no male or female plants the are all both because all plants have the stamen(male part) and Ovary(female part) there are all unisex. so next time when you look at a flower realize it is neither female nor male but a combination of both

The male flowers will have the stamen.  A stamen contains the anther (the pollen producing part) atop the filament (a supporting stalk.  Generally there are many stamen per flower.  These usually look like big fluffy puff balls or pom-poms.  The female flowers have the ovary, which looks sort of like a vase.  Also the female flowers will eventually form into seeds (male flowers will never have seeds).

    That being said, most flowers have both the male and female organs on one flower.  But some plants have the males and female parts on separate parts of the plant, or on completely different plants.
