How do you tell the difference of male and female in (fancy) guppies

i need help im going to get 1 fancy guppy and it needs to be female becuase i have 1 female and one male and i want 1 fancy female so if you will give me lots of pictures of

fancy female guppies and if ones pregnant lable it as pregnant so il know if mine gets pregnant 10 points to the person who gives me at least 15 pictures and a good paragraph

Male has a long pointed anal fin called a gonopodium and the female has a triangular anal fin.  The males are usually smaller and thinner with bright colors.  Females tend to be more gray and are larger bodied.  Do a Google search for pics.  Any good pet store should be able to tell the difference between a male and female for you when you purchase.

  3. Sorry, I have no pictures, but I can tell you the males are the more colorful fish. The females are slightly larger than the males.

    The females also have a larger under-belly. This is why they appear to be

    p.g. even when they're not. Hope that helps!
