  1. if it turns any brown at all it is a female, females can be light bluish when they arent in breeding season   goodluck!   check out www.parrotcentral.net for good bird info

  2. With parakeets, I believe you look at that area above the beak where the nostrils are.  A blue colored one is male, and brownish is female.

  3. well you have to know how old it is...if it is a older than a year you can tell.

  4. well if it has balls its a guy

  5. I think you have to get a DNA test

  6. i honestly have no clue

  7. Babies have a smooth and pink cere (nostril area). As they get older the color changes. Females have a pink, white, tan, or brown cere. As the bird ages it is normal for the cere to become flaky in appearance. This is true for all varieties.

Males have a light blue, dark blue or purplish-blue cere. This is true in normal varieties only.

  8. believe it or not parakeets are born showing their gender through the color of their beak. no joke. boy parakeets actually have blue beaks and girls really have pink beaks.

    hope i helped!

    :)

  9. your vet would have to do tests

  10. i think it is a male

  11. if it has bright red cheeks its a male no color or very pale female

eric j....that do not have balls they are simmilar to frogs their balls are inside them

  12. Look where the sun don't shine.

  13. The little skin fold above the nose is either blue or purple.  Blue means it's a boy, purple means it's a girl.  If you can't tell, then it is too young to tell.  Good luck.

*EDIT*  Your bird is a girl.
