The most reliable way of sexing snakes is to get them probed. Only get this done by a professional who knows what they are doing, or serious damage can occur.

Probing is just sticking a small metal rod in the snakes cloaca (vent), and depending how deep it goes the gender can be determined. Males probe deeper than females.
