How do you tell which pointe shoe goes on which foot?

It doesn't matter.  Once u decide though, you'd better stick with that way around.

they are not made for any specific foot. you get to pick. write a small R and L on the inside if you like after you start wearing them in. that wont stop you from switiching them if you like though.

When you first get your shoes, with most brands, you can choose which foot. After that you might want to right a R and L inside the shoes.

You get to choose. It doesn't matter. But, after you decide, make sure to write R and L in them, because, once you break them in,  it's a REALLY bad idea to put them on the wrong feet.
