How do you tell your parents you're pregnant???

how do you tell them that you are pregnant when you are only 18 years old?? i am so worried i might be pregnant and dont know how to tell my parents and family that im pregnant if i am! is it that big of a dissappointment will they be like this for a long time?????

i think if your brave enough to have unprotected s*x.. then you should be brave enough to sit your parents down and tell them ..

raising kids is a hard full time job , it won't get easier when your friends will go out to party.. you'll be home changing diapers..

if your close with your parents they might already know. When i had to tell my mom my now husband and I were sitting on the couch crying. She walked in and said your pregnant you. She walked in to the bath room for a little bit and then came out and took our hands and said ok- what do you want to do. We told her we wanted to keep it. She has always been there for me. Ive been very lucky to have her. Just sit down and be honest if the father wants to be part of the child's life have him sit down as well. If he doesn't his parents still have the right to know weather or not he wants them to. This is his child as well as yours and that makes it there grand child. I hope everything works out for it. Its hard but rewarding. Stay in school and go to college it will be worth it.

well find out first.  and if you are think whether you're keeping it or not.  if you do keep it i would advise you to tell your mother first since she'll be more compassionate towards you.  let her know it was a mistake and that you never meant for it to happen.  she'll be disappointed but she should understand since she is your mother.  she'll probably go over options with you : keeping it, adoption, abortion, and think long and hard about your choice.  good luck.

Just come out and say it!!!! Imagine if you were a 13 yr old and had to tell them!!! @least you are an adult!! Set a date, (not 2 far away) build up to it, thn just say it!!! GOOD LUCK N CONGRATS

Better go to your Mom and tell her that u love her and tell her the truth? being a mother she'll understand and help you. Always remember " you'll not be able to hide truth from any body for too long " but if she'll be on your side No one in society will DARE to say a word against you?

you are 18 and can make your own choices just say it they cant change it and cant force you to make choices you dont want to make. just make sure they are sitting and you have a back up person there to make sure you dont get hit lol    you never know but just get it out. to ease it you could find a cute way to tell them. get personalized m & ms or get bibs that say i love grandma nd grandpa and tell them " i dont want you to get all dirty let me get you something to keep yo clean" then go get the hidden bibs and give them to them

  As a parent I would have to say I would be upset at first even angry, however after  I cooled off a bit I would sit down with you and figure out a plan of action and your choices.  Of cource I would still love my daughter we have to let our children make their own mistake and be there for them to help them pick up the peices if the choose wrong.

  Anyway best tell them soon cant hide it forever, and by the way as a father I would say tell your mother first.

i'm 18 also.

i waited until i was 10 weeks until i told my mom. i don't live with her, so i went to her work on her lunch break and after talking about random stuff, i just started crying (idk why, i guess pregnancy emotions haha) and then i just told her.

my dad found out around 12 weeks, because i live with him and was getting on medicaid, and he seen the mail, so i just told him.  he was gonna kick me out and everything, but he changed his mind- thank god lol.

its hard, and my parents were disappointed at first, but now that i'm almost 7 months, they are getting excited.
