  1. They feel the same way all Democrats feel. A deep gratitude to John McCain, for handing over the White House.

  2. I feel more confident now that he picked Palin.  She will not get the Hillary supporters votes as she thinks.  Do you think more women will vote for McCain & Palin considering her stand on the abortion issue?  McCain would have been better off picking Romney but I think he just lost his chance at being president

  3. They have no feelings.....being mind numb and all.

  4. From what I've read so far, fearful, mad, and condescending.

  5. Very very worried.

They and the press will try to rip her apart, but they won't succeed.

This woman has accomplished more in 5 years as a working mother of 5 than Pelosi, Reid and Obama have in their entire lifetimes combined.

This woman is EVERYTHING they want in a candidate: Except in the "wrong" party.

She offers a better "hope" of "change" in Washington than Obama himself.

I laugh to myself when I think of Hillary watching all of this.

This lady is head and shoulders above anything Hillary could ever Hope to be.

  6. Good for Obama. Palin lacks the experience and capacity to get up to speed for the demands of a national public office. Far too right to appeal to moderate undecided voters in Virginia and Ohio, which McCain just lost.

  7. If he had picked Mitt or Pawlenty, I would have been worried. But I've been laughing for almost 24 hrs now

  8. shaking in their welfare boots ( his supporters dont have work boots!) they know that choice sunk their sinking ship

  9. Angry, incoherent, confused, distraught, defensive, pathetic,

but I guess that's how they've been the whole time anyway

  10. I think I feel deflated...

I think his choice was reactionary and wrong for America... anything for a vote.

But I also have some hope that it will backfire... she's not the sharpest crayon you know...

I am worried to see how popular she SUDDENLY is on Yahoo Answers... I don't want to deal with a McCain Presidency just because the religious right got stirred up at the last minute...

  11. They are either in denial or just trying to play it off as if its no big deal. Either way they are not taking her seriously as a threat when actually they should. You are not going to find a actual Obama supporter come on here and be honest that she could help McCain win the election.

She reflects change-she is defiantly the opposite of your standard Washington Politician-and thats including Barack Obama. If people are really looking for change-then they really need to look at people like Sarah Palin. How on earth is Obama choosing a career politician such as Joe Biden bring change?

On a side note-ive even seen Obama supporters online here on Yahoo and elsewhere on the net being so low as to attack the woman and her Downs Syndrome baby. Now how low can you be to do that?

  12. MORE CONFIDENT THAN EVER that Obama is definitely the right choice!

  13. They don't know whether to wind their @ss or scratch their watch !

  14. Desperate and ugly

  15. Elated. As an Obama supporter, I couldn't have wished for a better choice by McCain--he just handed the election to Obama.

McCain just lost--not gained--a lot of women voters.  Some--the ones who are part of he religious right--will vote for McCain because of Palin--but they'd probably vote for McCAin anyway.

Outside that narrow demographic group, very few women in America are going to vote for a religious fanatic who wants to force her religious beliefs on all other women. Nor are they going to voe for a woman who is so irresponsible as to deliberately bring a disabled child into the world when preventing pregnancy (not abortion, prevention) is readily available.

I was concerned that McCain might pick a woman--and it could have been a good move if he had picked someone who is qualified (Condi Rice, for example).  That WOULD have gotten a lot of independent women voters.  Palin is going to drive them away in droves.

    Obama 2008

  16. From the looks, they hate it. They say they think McCain screwed up, yet why would they care if they were not nervous about losing some of the white woman vote?

  17. I don't know what they think.  Are people that delusional?  What an obvious ploy. What does this say about McCain's judgeent? People who are now supporting her are the same ones who were saying Obama wasn't fit for the job?????????

  18. Scared, Outsmarted, and totally Screwed.

  19. Trying to cry she doesn't have experience rings hollow.  The least experienced on the Republican ticket is in the #2 slot whereas the least experienced on the Democrat ticket is in the #1 slot.  Her Executive experience far outweighs Obamas experience.  Whether it's mayor or governor an elected Executive has decisions all day long they have to make and live with.  A legislator can pick and choose what they deal with and then it's trying to persuade someone to vote your way.  They don't have the daily grind of making executive decisions.

  20. Let me see. Are people that stupid,. We have now north korea wanting to blow us up, we have Russia coming out of the woodwork wanting to fight, and lets not forget Iran thumbing their nose daring a fight with us. Yes, when mcshame drops over i want a person who commands reindeers, with no foreign policy under her belt taking care of our security.Biden is extremely capeable...very scary in deed to me.People have a bolt loose voting for mcshame. He clearly lacks judgement, this is now proven and does not care about anything except getting Hillary voters. No mcshame for me.

  21. Except for but a few, I really don't thihk it matters one bit. There are strategists out there of course, who are saying what they want people to believe ("oh God, bad choice") but in reality I don't think they care.

I don't and I embrace no political party at all.

I saw an interview on MSNBC early this morning wherein she was discussing drilling in Alaska.  She sounded like a high school senior trying to push for a new location for the senior prom.

Let's hear her talk about other important issues, although I've already chosen my next president.

    Barack Obama.

I don''t think people are 'attacking' her and her Downs syndrome baby. In fact, she probably made such a move to get that out of the way. I mean, what would it look like showing off her other children and 'hiding' the one with Downs.

  22. They were caught of guard, I can see them now as she was announced as McCain's running mate as they were geared for Romney lol. The phrase "deer caught in the headlights" look comes to mind. First thing they did was shoot out negatives about Palin, negatives show desperation & fear.
