  1. Everybody does the same thing in the NFL.  The difference is language and what they call their plays.  With a vet like Favre, he should be good by the second or third game in the regular season.

  2. I don't think its going to be a real issue. He is going to throw a ton of interceptions because he is Brett Favre, but he knows how to win and thats all the Jets care about.  You might want to pick up Thomas Jones now that he has Brett back there with him.  Its going to open up the Jets running game.

  3. FAVRE is going to do great in NYJ i dont know whats wrong with all the haters out there

the only thing to do now is change favres jersey on the cover of madden 09 LOL

  4. He shouldn't have to much of a problem adjusting.  If Chad Pennington and Kellen Clemens can run that offense with some success then Favre will shine in the system.

Yes Favre would be a better starter in FFL than Cutler

  5. I don't think anyone can adapt to the Jets System.

  6. To be honest with you, it will take some time.  I don't care how good of a player you are, it will always take time to get used to a new environment.  I think at some point Favre will adapt, but one thing is true, that it will be a little more difficult to adapt in a system where you have never been.  Favre started his career in GB, so therefore that is the only system he knows.  Now being with Mangini and the Jets he has to learn a new system with new players, so that means he will have to understand the talent or calibur of teammates he is dealing with. Favre is a great player, and I'm sure he will have some successes this coming season, but I don't think we should make the mistake of thinking the Jets will automatically go to the playoffs with Favre.  Don't get me wrong, he increases their chances of winning, but when you go to a new team and new environment there will be some growing pains and Favre will experience them at some point..
