  1. I think her knowledge is key in each role.  In Charlie Wilsons war she was able to learn how things worked and what wouldn't and did not work and tell people who could actually make things happen (Charlie) believe it too.  In Erin Brockovich she investigated until she learned about the cover up of contamination and did what she had to do to get the settlement. In pretty woman she knew what men wanted and made money off of it until she eventually got what she wanted. When you know something, you own it, and she wasn't willing to buy in to anything other than the truth.  Knowledge is Power!

  2. No, I think she is an actress and does movies to earn a living.  I doubt that her first concern is fighting stereotypes.

  3. All three roles show a woman using the power that is allotted to her.  Her physical beauty and any money the character posseses is used to affect a change.  The use of s*x or s*x appeal in each role hardly fights stereotypes.

  4. IDK but she was pure brilliant in it, first time i really noticed her, i enjoyed that film.

don't know about the other two, pretty woman is about trading s*x for a lifestyle and love isn't it?
