The new world order will be the World Bank. A larger version of the Federal Reserve that has ensured that the United States will forever be in debt paying interest on the $$$ our government borrows to ensure maximum profits for it's friends.

The World Bank will enslave the planet as it has done to the U.S......just like the Federal Reserve, it will collect interest on borrowed $$$ that doesn't even exist in the first place because it isn't backed by a commodity like gold.

When you ponder the question, "Who benefits the most from the Iraq War?" look no further than the Federal Reserve (a private non-governmental entity) that rakes in the $$$ via interest on the $$$ it loans to the U.S. gov't.....when Bush pushes for more $$$ for the Iraq War, it's borrowed from the Federal Reserve and increases our gov't debt and this debt will not be paid off for many generations with the most optimistic of outlooks.

The $$$ the Federal Reserve loans our gov't isn't even backed by anything (such as gold)...the gov't says we need let's say $2B, just for the sake of argument, and poof it appears in a bank account......with no more effort and no more legitimate backing than me typing $2,000,000,000 and crediting the account...BOOM, i've credited your account (U.S. gov't) and now you can start paying interest on the loan.......and the gov't uses every income tax dollar paid by us citizens to pay the interest to the Federal Reserve.

So what I'm saying, is that the New World Order/World Bank is actually the globalization of this concept....financial enslavement.

Nation-states are obsolete. They were a military solution to a world and economy far different than what exists today. According to the CIA factbook,  the nation-state, ".as a bedrock economic-political institution, is steadily losing control over international flows of people, goods, funds, and technology." Obsolete, of course, doesn't prevent a nation-state from trying to survive.

The absolute failure of any nation-state or coalition of nation-states to do anything beyond talking about the very real problem of global warming is going to become increasingly obvious to the citizens of the world. This is one thing to end the present order.

Capitalism, the dominant economic system in the world today, depends critically on distribution of wealth to consumers who buy the goods and services that drive the markets. Human labor, though, is increasingly being dispensed with - not replaced by lower cost labor but dispensed with altogether  - because a non-wage earning robotic process that is 10x as productive gets implemented. This labor displacement is reaching into white collar and service jobs as well. When we can produce all we want of goods and services without human input, wages no longer exist to spread the wealth and allow people to buy. We're going to have to solve this problem soon.

The third factor is the one-laptop-per-child effort coupled with the Internet. Governments as we know them today can't stand daylight,  ubiquitous communications and video means they can't hide in smoke-filled rooms anymore without people knowing what's going on. Old-line corporations, built in a world with limited distribution of resources and dependent on large infrastructure investments, are going to get hit by half a billion newly educated youngsters  from the third world, who grew up without all of those infrastructure expectations.

We are faced with a revolution in how we have to deal with our environment, a revolution in how we deal with the distribution of wealth, and a revolution in the distribution of knowledge, all brought on by technological advancements, increased ability to influence our environment and increased wealth in the world. The industrial revolution, which changed the world and ushered in the nation-state, was less sweeping than any one of those revolutions.

The trigger for change will be a big enough series of disasters to make us realize that our governments collectively have done nothing to help us, in the face of ample warning.
