I think the speech could have been better.

To me - Hillary made a speech that hit the home-run.   I don't think Palin made that good of a speech .. and I think she needed to do just that.

Democrats hated it, here is why:

1. she has an R behind her name.

2. she didn't promise free health care.

3. she didn't promise free college.

4. she didn't promise free housing.

5. she didn't promise free cars.

5. she didn't promise free flat screen tv's.

6. she didn't point out how people are "struggling."

7. she didn't threaten to impeach the president.

8. she didn't bash the military.

9. she used the phrase "terrorists" and refrained from calling   them "freedom fighters."

I am highly impressed. She pretty much let us know she has the experience. She gave good examples of improvements made as governor. Like getting rid of the plane and the cook and the fluff that taxpayers should not be paying for.  She gave tax money collected from higher gas prices back to the taxpayers. The Dems would just raise our taxes and give the money to welfare and other freebies. I think we have a great combination. I was frankly worried we wouldnt have any good choices in this election. Now I see we have a VERY clear choice.

I thought she was engaging, straight talking, and discussed her accomplishments clearly (balanced the budget, fought corruption, broke up the power monopoly in her state).

To sum it up; I think she did a great job !

She said that parents of special needs children had an advocate in the white house if she is elected.  Wonder when she will spend time with her spec need child.  Maybe 1:30 - 1:45 pm?

She has no class. All she did was rip apart Obama - never really telling me what she and McCain would do to better our economy, educational system, or deficit. She has no class. With all the **** thats going on with her right now, she should be one to talk....
