How do you think Paul Maholm is going to pitch against the Phils tomorrow

i'm a little nervous starting him against them...he was shaky in his last start and the phils have been hot, what do you guys think??

do not start this guy.....this offense scores runs like no other...ESPECIALLY after they score five yesterday...expect two HUGE run games like 7+ for today tomorrow and maybe even the next game

Well.. Maholm usually either goes like 8 innings and gives up 3 hits, or he'll get yanked in the 4th after giving up 7 runs.  There's not much in the middle.

So probably one of those two results.

Very bad, the Phillies are this years National League World Series Contendant. How is an unconsistant pitcher like that gonna win a game against the Phils? Dont start him.

I would start him. Though inconsistent, he has good stuff. Phillies despite their good offense, sometimes go stale against certain pitchers, especially those they feel they should beat. They tend do push too hard for the win, only to blow up in their faces. Pitt actually has some guys who can throw, just need to be consistent. Pitt also can put up some runs, despite losing Bay and Nady. Sanchez leading off is slowly coming out of a funk and McClouth hittign 3rd, benefits them.
