How do you think WVU will do this year?

as a bigger mountaineer fan. I don,t think we lost much, reynaud, schmitt and slaton. slaton though didn,t run last year like the year before. we have the 3rd best offensive line in the country, pat white, noel devine and a defense somewhat weaker on paper but who knows whats in the wings ready to play. plus we lost the idiot rodriguez who coached out of fear, intimidation, and replaced that with coach stewart that the players are cohesive with out of respect. i hope we go all the way.

As a Mountaineer fan and a WVU student, I hope that we finally bring home that BCS championship. But speaking realistically I think that WVU will probably win 10 or 11 games, finishing the season off with a Big East champ. and maybe a BCS bowl win. I like Coach Stew, but with our defense declining, and no Slaton or Reynaud. I think that a championship may have to wait.

I hope we go all the way to the national title game, of course.. but as we have all learned from the past, mountaineer football is both unpredictable in both amazing and devastating (pitt game) ways. I have good faith in our 'eers though.. we have so much talent and we definitely have a shot =). Last year we thought it was our year, but I don't see why it can't be this year as well!

WVU still has a few good players on offense and defense, but the team is no where as talented as it was a year or two ago. Big Rich's departure has the recruiting pool down a little bit, so they will need the veteran's to come through big time. Pat White is a great player, but he is the only proven offensive weapon they have on that team.

Prediction- 8-4, 2nd in Big East, go to a 2nd tier bowl game
