  1. Sure.

    Why not?

Their outlook on the world will be different.

    Instead of living in misery.

    Genesis 11. 1,6

    Fill with animosity.

    Luke 9.25,55-56,60

Realise were living in misery with faulty education and communication system

    Luke 6.39-40,41-45,46-49

    What do you think?

  2. I hope so - it will definitely change how the world views China, and China is definitely trying to paint itself in a good light for the event. Hopefully this interest will put pressure on China to open up and respect human rights a lot more.

  3. No never, A chinese is a chinese , for thousand of years chinese is fighting chinese e.g. the three kingdoms, the moa uprising, the 1949 revolutions

  4. It already has

  5. it changed a lot for the 3 million people made homeless when their houses were seized to make way for the new bejiing. it changed a lot for the families of the unskilled construction workers brought in from the rice fields and seriously injured or killed on the building sites.

  6. There will be more litter

  7. It won't change.

Once the games are over things will get back to normal again. People who lost houses that were demolished to make way for the various facilities still won't have compensation.

Some people made bigger sacrifices than others to get the Olympics off the ground.

  8. I'm watching (and the Olympics).

It won't change China one jot.

  9. there will not be major changes for China.

just that it will always be remembered as one of the hosts of the summer Olympics in history..

  10. I think this will probably invite a lot more tourists to China, and the fact that it is already quite a a recently industrialised country... It may make matters worse. HOWEVER, I think, as stated earlier, it will change the way China in viewed by the world, and would make people more involved in charities and such and such to do with helping the people there. If China make a good impression in the Olympics... this could make the whole country have a better lifestyle, if anyone gets what I mean?

  11. All it has done so far is made the poor homeless to build the site on.

    Needless killings of real protesters.

Nothing will change China until the Dictatorship is changed.

  12. Tighter grip on its people.

  13. Not a jot.But will they get more proparganda to feed to the public.

  14. None whatsoever!

  15. Well its making China at least pretend that they care what the rest of the world thinks, and they are trying to present themselves in a good light. Although a lot of steps, like opening up the internet, and allowing "protest zones" will probably be rescinded after the games are over. I really don't think any substantial change will come as long as the west is in love with cheap Chinese products, and therefore unwilling to apply any serious pressure to the Chinese government.

  16. Hosting the Olympic Games for the first time ever, may change China to some degree in that it brings Great China finally into the family of nations.

What we must all bear in mind about the Chinese People is their long held hurt at the way in which they were treated by the West in the 19th and early 20th centuries.
