How do you think humanity will meet it's 'doom'?

I think our world will become so infected with too much rap music, Paris Hilton wannabes and so much slang that people will start saying 'lol' and 'brb' in person. Such a shame..

I mean, seriously, look how ridiculous the culture is today. We have rappers singing about lollipops, sneakers- whats next, lawnmowers? We have kids that lose their virginity at even fifth grade; do we not have any better people to look up to? So many generations of youth that try to 'fit in' and be cool so they say LIKE OMG LIKE LOL!!!! We'll become so exposed to the idea, all humanity will be doomed.

Don't tell me I'm the only one who thinks this.

20 years time there will be no US, only an area of The North American Union. It will become a police state directed by the new world order, there are many many fema prison camps being built in the US, the population will be carefully reduced by 85% This agenda is both of McCain and Obamas agendas.

Those might be big problems with society but seriously, we're not going to meet our doom one day because there's too much rap music, and stupid celebrities. Your intentions are noble and I certainly agree that the "pop" aspect of our culture is already way over the top. However, every culture has its own such idiosyncrasies. The American culture just has those issues. But we've had similar problems in the same large scope and we've done well. h**l, we made it through the Great Depression and two World Wars! So will humanity meet it's "doom" because of America's social issues? No. Humanity will also probably not even end as a result of who gets elected as president this year. Don't be so Ameri-centric...

When humanity as whole meets its doom is OBVIOUSLY 12/21/12... like duh!! Like OMG, Photon belts, pole shifts, and galactic alignment will totally destroy us.... (Just kidding, again!)

Humanity will probably meet its doom as the result of something on a great cosmic scale. I am a firm believer in the human spirit and our ability to come together in the most dire of moments to come through with a solution to solve the crisis. However, it seems that these days, apathy is increasing, and should such a moment come along, too many of us will be too consumed in our own affairs to see the bigger picture...

Well, I personally thought our enormous brains or a World War would cause the end, but, yeah I know what your talking about, rap sucks my grandpa's hairy balls

but I dont think rap music is the cause of all the problems we have, I think its just an effect born from all the problems in todays society.

The real source of problems come from technology, especially the internet. The internet causes us to communicate with each other extremely fast, this is a problem.

We learn from evolution that the ones who survive are those who adapt the fastest.  As with everything, if you have too much of something good, it will be a problem. We adapted too fast when we created the internet, internet allows us to share our ideas forcing most humans to start thinking the same as everybody else, just as a herd of clone cows get killed off by the same disease, will we lose our ability to adapt.

A species needs diversity so that the better adapted ones can flourish while the weak ones die, but with humans the weak ones live on because of our compassion. Pretty soon the weak ones will outnumber the stronger ones by way too much, to the point where a World War could cause an incredible amount of chaos nobody could possibly survive. This is not possible with a diverse species because not enough people would come together to be able to destroy the world. The internet makes people think the same though.
