How do you think it would look expanding on this tattoo?

my friend has had a couple of comments (one being from me) that it would look cool if the tree extended higher... she was already thinking about it, but after these comments is seriously considering it... do you think it would look good?

Yeah, you definitely could go bigger with the tree-- it would make more detail [and of course more script] possible. I really like that idea.

Its a pretty good size right now.  I would leave it as is.

no, leave it the way it is, it looks beautiful on your body, and like in your picture, it wont be blocked by a bathing suit.

if it goes higher, your shoulder blade will make it look "bent" and the image will be obstructed.

Maybe if anything, add some clouds at the top of the tree to suggest great heights or sumthin. It could be symbolic for what your tattoo stands for and you can show a piece of the branch from the tree at the top of the cloud.

Hard to tell by the black and white picture. In my opinion, I would not expand higher, like the comment above, it would start bending back over on itself.

You may consider, I can't tell by the black and white photo, some shading or smoke haze around this original. You need to find an artist that can perform this as its not a skill be known to all

I would leave it alone......it looks fantastic as is.
