us humans on the other hand will not be so fortunate because of the lack of space and the territorial wars.

I seriously doubt there would be much life on Earth. A huge percentage of creatures on our planet can only live within a certain range of temperatures and I'm sure plenty of them are at their upper bounds with the temp as is. A lot of life would fail if we even raised the temp by 2 degrees. Now, if the temp went up very slowly then I suppose life on Earth would have to adapt to the changes, but that could take quite a while. 6 degrees warmer is pretty extreme on a global scale, so don't expect there to be as much life on our cozy little planet as there is now.
