  1. It means keep looking until I find made in the U.S.A.  "Made in China" means don't buy it.  One way to strengthen the American dollar is to buy American products.

  2. it sounds good everything is mostly made in china without it where would the countrys be today hope this helps

  3. I think it is pretty good... Or it doesn't really matter as long as its all good...

  4. lead poisoning

  5. When we see "made in China," we assume the product will be more affordable than similar products, but is more likely to have defects or safety issues (like the recent dog food and lead paint scares.)

Also, we try to avoid products made in China because of the trade deficit. We feel we need to start keeping some dollars here, lest we all be out of jobs.

  6. It makes me fell good to  know that China works for America; even though the stuff they make is c**p.

  7. China is the latest producer of cheap goods of questionable quality. (used to be Japan then Taiwan then Korea...etc). Good enough for day to day use but not for anything where your life might depend on it.

Lax labour laws that result in exploitation of workers, political problems such as the putdown of the revolt in Tibet and lax pollution laws that result in serious environmental concerns make goods that are made in China a poor moral choice for a conscientious buyer.

The cheap goods are being traded unfairly because the Yuan is fixed and not floating on world currency exchange markets.

  8. not sure why your question is in "environment"....other than the fact that pollution of all kinds is on the rise in China. Not a good thing for the health of the population or the environment.

as a note, I have many friends from China, and we have had some interesting discussions.

email me, and we can have a discussion as well.

  9. I think its funny that we are so big in the US and don't rely on ourselves. Rather, we rely on an up and coming country that isn't 1st world. It is all too common to hear the phrase
