How do you think the Colorado Avalanche will do next year in the 2008-2009 season?

With there new goaile Andrew Raycoft and Jose Thedore gone, and also with Darcy Tucker there new recent player. And Joe Quinbille gone. And Andrew Burnett gone as will

Will the Avalanche be a stronger team. Or can you see this may be there first ever losing season? For me hard to say

I think If Sakic doesn't come back they may be real trouble ahead.

Theodore was not the whole team last year. It was the young players and im pretty sure if we can keep our young players we will be a pretty good team. If we can keep Sakic and forsberg of the retired list for atleast one more year than we will dominate. We have a pretty good defense with Adam Foote, Scott Parker, and John Micheal-liles staying. Its the goalie situation thats going to be hard on the Avs...Again both goalies (budaj, Raycroft) are going to be fighting for starter which can also be good. For now we have to wait on the free agent signing period to see what we get. We need a good all around player like Sakic.

OK this is my opinion i think every team has potential i think every team will do good cuz the worst thing you can think about your team is a negative thought you know what i am saying? so keep your chin up and think positive

yeah i think they will be a losing team for sure if sackic doesnt come back

and theodore was pretty much there whole team last year

plus brunette is back in the state of hockey where he belongs

so i would say theres a pretty good chance the avalanche will

be pretty S****y next year

It all depends on how the coach is. I mean i think They will do fine..all they need is good coaching and good plays and i love them...they r a great team..

I'd say about the same as last year.  They're no where near the elite, but they're still decent.

i hope they do well. even though they were good last season. sakic is old and theodore wasnt at his best against detroit. so it's time for a change, maybe tucker and raycoft can bring delight. besides, they have Peter Forsberg so they'll be fine.

I think they will be a strong team next season.

I think it's good that they went out and got Darcy Tucker,

he is an agitator but he is also a goal scorer,

as for Andrew Raycroft, he is a great goalie.

I think they'll do better. Theodore IMO is over-rated. Peter Budaj is a good goalie and Colorado has a good defense. I don't think the signings will prove much other than similar seasons for them. Tough Western Conference and Detroit got even better, so it'll be a tough go unless they can make some moves to get some scorers. That's their only weakness.
