Last year wasn't so bad. Like almost all the games they lost were like by a touchdown or less. If they could have pulled though in the clutch in those games I could have seen with 12-4 record and be serious playoff contenders. The D should be better this year. The secondary gets both Dawkins/Considine healthy. Samuels should help the turnover problem. The linebackers have another season under their belt and should be even more hungrier. The line will be solid with Cole leading the pack. I am a little concerned with the offense but if McNabb can get back into his old form, Westbrook has a monster season, and the receivers/tight-ends provide enough support, I could see them with 10-12 wins. The only problem is that they are in one of the toughest divisions in the league with the Giants/Cowboys superbowl contenders and the Redskins young/upcoming. But enough about me, what do you think of the Eagle's chances this year?

  1. I see them probably at 10-6, considering McNabb may not stay healthy.  If he does they could fare better.  They could definetly be a playoff team, but those cowboys are hungry this year.  I'm a Vikings fan myself, but I have huge respect for Westbrook.  He helped me dominate my fantasy league last year.

Quite a bit will depend on McNabb's ability to connect with his recievers.  I'm a big McNabb fan as well, but he's gonna have to make some plays with his arm if we're gonna see the Eagles come playoff time.

  2. 10-6 Idk why they singed Samuel the guy is a product of the Patriots system, mark my words, he's overated. besides the birds got lito and brown they don't need assante.

  3. Donovan McNabb has to stay healthy for the Eagles to be playoff contenders. DeSean JaCKson looks like s solid receiver who will be a good deep threat for McNabb.

    11-5 with McNabb healthy

    8-8 without McNabb

  4. As an Eagles fan I see them being 12-4 realisticaly... their losses coming to the Boys both times, once to the Giants, and Redskins... the Eagles have an Easy schedule with the Nfc West and the Bears and Falcons and... and you right B-West will have a monster season, and our secondary will force all teams to run the ball which makes it easier for the coaches to watch for the run most of the time... overall I think we will do well and come in 2nd or 3rd in the Nfc... and with the new rule stating "instead of division winners getting 1st week bye the 4 best records do" so we could easily have a round 1 bye in the playoffs... I can't wait for Sept. 7th

EDIT: oh I didn't mean they had an easy schedule I meant other than the Nfc East they have an easy schedule

  5. Well first they need to ge rid of that overrated injury prone quarterback he will be lucky to play in 8 games max then they need to lose the boring west coast offense screen pass after screen pass is annoying the only reason westbrook has great numbers is because he gets the ball every play somebody should tell andy reid they legalized the forward pass then they need to get out of the NFC East because Dallas is going to crush them twice this year then they need to move out of that cesspool city they play in and lose those scumbag fans and burn those disgusting green uniforms tear down that stadium and disband the franchise eagles fans are the worst fans ever and they don't deserve a team my predictions for the shegulls this year is 2-14 or 5-11 at best while Dallas goes 14-2 and wins it all

  6. 12-4? Wow! Save this answer. DeSean Jackson? Name the last rookie receiver that came in and made such an impact that the team went from the middle of the pack to a 12-4 record. Come on. The only weapons they have is McNabb and Westbrook. I like McNabb, but he has no receivers to throw to. I think the cowboys and giants will run away, and the redskins and eagles will be fighting around 9-7.
