These violent delights have violent ends

And in their triumph die, like fire and powder,

Which, as they kiss, consume.

How would you translate it to fit the story?

I got lost at "like fire and powder"....

  1. fire and powder together has a terrible result

  2. It could represent Edward and Bella. Romeo and Julliet were not supposed to be together, as were Edward and Bella. Romeo and Juliet's relationship eventually lead to their death, perhaps that will happen to Edward and Bella (hope not!) Fire to gun powder is all consuming and destructive.

  3. Fire=Edward

    Powder (meant to be weak)=Bella

    I think.

Also, Fire would burn powder, just as Edward could kill Bella

  4. Fire and powder cannot be together. They can exist side by side and far away from one another, but they can never become one, since the act will destroy them both.

Having said that, they don't have much purpose without each other, either. Without powder, fire is just a flame, burning endlessly. Without fire, powder is nothing - inactive and dull. There's no spark anywhere.
