How do you think the Tampa Bay Rays will finish the year?

i dont think they will go all the way this year because of less experience in the playoffs, though its just an opinion.  I definately think they will make it to the playoffs.  I think they will be major contendors for the next several years.

They'll win the division. Get past the Chi Sox, but loose to the LA Angels in the ALCS.  Joe Madden for AL Manager of the Year.

we don't know how this team is in the playoffs. Obviously they're going to be there, but they could easily choke in the first round. WHO KNOWS

It will all depend on how they finish the season.  If they go into the playoff winning like 7/8 out of the last 10 games, I think that kind of momentum will may give them a slight edge during the 1st round. Ideal first round matchup would be against the White Sox/Twins.  They will need to have a home field advantage in the 2nd round to advance.  Angels should be #1 by seasons end but they need to have more wins that the White Sox or Twins.  Hopefully the Red Sox would knock off the Angels and give TB a slight edge in a 7 game series.  Yes the Red Sox have ALOT of experience and they know how to win in October but I don't see this as the same teams that I have won a few world series.  They are very beatable now and no where as intimidating especially to younger teams like the Rays.  So the Rays could end up shocking the World and get into the World Series for the 1st time in franchise history.

They've got a lot of talent, it wouldn't surprise me at all if they go deep into the playoffs and/or go to the World Series. THe Angels will be their biggest obstacle from going to the World Series.

i think they will have about 90-95 wins and win the AL East

i think they have a great chance to make it to the world series but it will be very tough to beat the angels and sox in the playoffs,i see them going to the ALCS to face the Angels,im not sure who would win that,but i think whoever makes it to the world series from the american league will win it.the AL is far better than the NL

They're a talented team, but honestly I don't see them getting past the first round of the playoffs. As others have stated, they just don't have enough experience.

That team is loaded with talent.  I wouldn't be surprised at all if they beat out the redsox for the Al East division.  However, I just don't see them winning it all this year.  Maybe next year or the year after they can come away with a world series win, but they just don't have enough experience to win it all.  Personally, I am a Phillies fan, but I think this year is the cubs' year.
