How do you think the buffalo sabres will do this upcoming season in 08-09?

Do you think that the picks they got could get them to the playoffs and maybe to the cup. Or do you think they will just end up and the conference finals and have another heartbreaking loss? Im a die hard fan, but I just hate seeing them lose. But give me your thoughts.

I'm afraid the Sabres will be battling for 10th place this year - they have just lost too much talent recently and have not replaced it...The post-season is now a few years away for this team...

well, i think they have a 50 50 chance. either slip in 7/8th spot, or barely make it.

it all depends if they want to proove us wrong and make up for last season.

cuz i think if they set their minds to it, they could get in the playoffs.

I wont be surprised if they miss the playoffs but I think they will make it in the 7th or 8th spot and exit the first round.....no way are they getting into the conference finals or the stanely cup finals....

Depends on the young guys. i think having a farm team all to ourselves will help with the maturing of young players I'll say 6 seed then lose in second round would be good for this team

I think they'll make playoffs, I'm not expecting anything huge though. And mark my words, I don't care that Campbell is gone, he wouldn't have done anything for them this season, anyway. That isn't to say he couldn't save a sinking ship, I mean he wasn't going to post any big numbers, himself.

im a die hard fan too! lol i think the new backup goalie will help a lot so miller doesnt have to play so many games. the new defenseman will help a ton too. i definatley think they will make it into the playoffs.
