What do you think caused the explosion in Toronto this morning? What are your thoughts on the subject?

Oh yeah, and I didn't know which topic to put this under...I just used environment... :D

It was a propane facility - an accident.

Well, after the Hub Oil explosion in Calgary in 1999, the facility was forever closed and I don't think such facilities can be near homes now.  Of course, when Hub Oil was built, it was in the middle of nowhere...

I don't think a propane plant should be that close to peoples homes, for the kind of reason that happened today.  I guess we are running out of space, a lot of industrial facilities are being built next to communities.  

I think the cause of it was human error.  Someone probably forgot to do something.
